The filters aim to reduce the smoke particles that cigarettes give off, thus being less harmful to the smoker.

  • Depending on their size, we can find filters of 15 mm in length, 19 mm or 22 mm.
  • They can be made of different materials, such as polypropylene, cardboard or cellulose acetate.

What is the difference between 6mm slim and regular 7.5mm or 8mm filters?
The difference is the diameter: 6mm slims (such as OCB Slim or Smoking Classic Slim) are narrower and used with thin slim size papers, while regular 7.5mm or 8mm papers fit better with wider standard or king size papers.
What are cardboard filters for and how are they different from acetate filters?
Cardboard filters (such as those from Greengo, Smoking or OCB) act as a rigid mouthpiece that shapes the rolled cigarette and makes it easier to hold. Unlike acetate ones, they do not filter smoke in the same way; Its main function is structural and gripping.
What are Organic OCB filters and how are they different from standard OCB Slim?
Organic OCB filters are made from naturally derived materials with no chemical bleaches, which visually differentiates them (raw tone) from standard white OCB Slim. Both share the same 6 mm diameter and are compatible with the same slim papers.
How do I choose between 8mm long filters and 8mm regular filters?
The difference is in the length of the filter: the long ones offer more travel inside the rolled cigarette, which influences the amount of mixture used. Choose the lengths if you prefer a more compact tobacco cigarette, and the regular ones if you want to make the most of the length of the paper.
Are 6mm slim filters compatible with any rolling paper?
The 6 mm slim filters (Smoking Classic Slim, OCB Slim, OCB Organic) are designed for use with slim or king size slim papers. With wider regular format papers they can be loose, so in that case it is preferable to opt for 7.5 mm or 8 mm filters.
