Frequently asked questions

What is the Mikromatic OCB DUO machine and what is it used for?

The Mikromatic OCB DUO is a tobacco tube filling machine from the OCB brand that allows you to fill cigarette tubes with rolling tobacco. It is a manual or semi-automatic solution for those who prefer to prepare their own cigarettes at home.

What type of tubes are compatible with the Mikromatic OCB DUO?

As a standard tube filling machine from the OCB brand, it is compatible with conventional cigarette tubes of regular size (King Size). It is recommended to use OCB tubes to ensure the best compatibility with the filling mechanism.

What does «DUO» mean in the name of this OCB tube filling machine?

The term «DUO» refers to the fact that the machine allows you to fill two cigarettes at once in a single operation, which speeds up the filling process compared to single-fill models.

What is the difference between a tube filling machine like the OCB DUO and a rolling machine?

A tube filling machine introduces tobacco inside an already manufactured tube with built-in filter, while a rolling machine forms the cigarette by rolling tobacco in rolling papers. The tube filling machine usually offers a more uniform and compact result.

What type of tobacco is recommended for use with the Mikromatic OCB DUO?

It is recommended to use rolling tobacco with fine or medium cut, well dried and without lumps, to facilitate passage through the filling mechanism and obtain homogeneous filling of the tube without jams.
